Olympic wrestler wins NDP nod over former punk rocker

Olympic wrestler Chris Wilson will be the NDP candidate for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain after beating out a well-known opponent.

He was up against Joe Keithley, a former member of punk band DOA.

Wilson is the executive director for Kidsport Tri-Cities, and a world champion wrestler with multiple medals. He represented Canada at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.

    Wow that's too bad ! I think it would have been a hoot to have an NDP candidate with his background speaking on behalf of the loyal left wing .

    MORE FREEEEEE handouts

    If people can't afford to pay for their kid's sports.............
    they CERTAINLY cannot afford to take them there
    Sports DO NOT happen in your backyard anymore
    Not evebn in your neighbours backyard
    TRAVEL is hte most expensive thing for kidssport

    I am sure the NDP will find a way FOR ME and YOU
    to SUPPLEMENT that for THEM too!!!!

    We cannot AFFORD the NDp to come back to BC
