The Conference Board of Canada predicts Vancouver's economy will grow slightly  this year.

The board's winter metropolitan outlook says Vancouver's economic growth is expected to accelerate slightly from 2.5 per cent last year to 2.9 per cent this year,  as manufacturing continues to recover.

As well, the medium term outlook sees growth averaging three per cent annually through 2016.

The board also says Vancouver housing starts are forecast to fall 10 per cent this year,  following double-digit percentage increases during each of the past three years.

    what is Vancouver's economy anyway?....

Vancouver has nothing, terrible career opportunity, low wages, no big companies, no industry
