A murder charge has been approved in the death of a 69-year old Nanaimo man and  the 27-year old suspect is the victim's son.

Police were called to an apartment building on Rock City Road Wednesday evening where they found Roger Harvey's body.

An autopsy will be done Monday to determine the exact cause of death.
