Vancouver Police have identified 59 year old Michael Charles Gregory of Vancouver as the man found severly injured at Commercial Drive and Venables street on Saturday.
He died later in hospital.
It's believed Gregory had been involved ina fight with another man.
A 27 year old man was taken into custody, but no charges have been laid.
