Prices for one of BC's most popular attractions are dropping.

The organizers of Vancouver's Pacific National Exhibition are reducing the 17-day fair to 15.

They say the first two Mondays are usually the slowest.

Shutting down operations those days makes it easier to cut parking and general admission prices by 20 per cent.

President and CEO Michael McDaniel says feedback from visitors made it clear the annual fair needs to be more family-friendly.

Kids under 13 still get in free.

This year's PNE runs from August 17th through September 2nd.

Sweet! Now BC Ferries should tear a page out of this book.

I'm happy to hear a reduction is possible but it's not obvious from the numbers presented

@ChrisM_18 Cut parking and general admission prices by 20 per cent. Then all the vendors will get you for $10+ Hot dog!
