The key witness at the trial of a young man accused of distributing obscene pictures won't have to testify against him Tuesday because he's pleaded guilty.

A charge of distributing child pornography was dropped when Dennis Warrington pleaded guilty December 20th.

In September of 2010, he posted images online of a 16-year old girl engaged in sexual activity during a rave in Pitt Meadows.

This past October, the judge dismissed a request for a mistrial right before the victim -- who's always claimed she was not a willing participant -- was set to testify.

The provincial court trial -- slated to resume this week in Port Coquitlam -- is now over.

The girl is expected to deliver a victim impact statement at the February 6th sentence hearing.

An incredibly poorly structured news report - I still can't figure out what charge he pled guilty to !
