Premier says no confusion over Education Plan

The Premier does not think her government's Education Plan conflicts with another agreement signed between the Teachers Union and the Employer.

Premier Christy Clark says her plan to reach a 10-year deal with teachers is a framework for the future.

Clark denies it would be moot if the Teachers Union and the Employers group reach a new agreement after ratifying their own bargaining process deal over the weekend.

Says Clark, "No, no.   I mean we're talking about putting in place a framework for then ext 10 years.  The Government's going to start negotiations again with the teachers union in very short order.  We need to have a plan going forward."

Clark also denies there was any communication s problems when teachers say they didn't know about her plan and Education Minister Don McRae saying they didn't know about the teachers' plan either.

After watching snookums stumble around for the last year or so I can see how she couldn't comprehend how her plan, like she ever thought of it herself, would conflict with anything else. It's neat to see these LIE BERALS going around in circles.

I have heard on NW on more then one occasion about the large staff Christy has working for her in the premier's office. One would think with all that staff that one of them would know what is going on. The problem with the Liberals is they don't know what 's goiing on and I believe they spend to much time defending their actions rather then seeing to them!!!!

minister of education McRae told CKNW's Bill Good this morning, "We basically put together a document, a framework for conversation, and yes i guess there was a little bit of misundertanding."

"Premier says no confusion over Education Plan"

ok now i am confused.... CC's says no confusion, the education mininster says there is........

no wonder McRae has no idea what the people he is responsible for are doing... it would seem he has no idea what his boss is doing either.
    1. speakup posted on 01/28/2013 01:40 PM
@whiterockj there are two very different situations quoted here

      MILFie says MIScommunication
      BUT.... McRae says MISunderstanding

One puts the onus on the communicatior
      The other one the communicatee!

Regardless what the BC public schools employer (of the day) communicates and how - the BCTF and their non-thinking for themselves thugs - will ALWAYS claim they were not told clearly!
Until the government learns how to deal with mafiaso terrorist union extortionists - this province will be help hostage forever!

      Just shut them down
and rehire teachers that want to work and can comprehend what a job description is and how woever you are and whereever you WORK......to saty employed - you must do certain things - such as give service to a customer!

without CUSTOMERS there just ain't no show
AND if you still don;t believe me......
take a cruise around some closed down empty schools
and then drive by the endless privatge type 'schools'
(i use air quotes - cos we know some of these 'schools' are just training grounds for the future of brainwashing......be afraid be very afraid - and be sure to KEEP SENDING THEM TAX DOLLARS - hail ....whoever they are saluting this week)

Why is risky Clark always on the defensive? It must be that she does not know what he is doing or supposed to do. She appears so confused.

Christy Clark is just plain and simple "stupid"
The Liberal Party is stupid for putting a dumpo into leadership role

HOW CAN ANYONE ACCEPT ANYTHING SHE SAYS WHEN SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON!

Knock Knock....hello Snookie? For a while now the polls indicate you & your government will be decimated....dont you read? your pretty much done! Theres really no need for you to even think about a 10 year deal now is there.

Give it up and next the next government deal with the teachers, further, why would the teachers at this point from a strategic stand point even consider negotiating with whats going to be a defunct party! Theres nothing in it for them, your a waste of time as is this issue. Now if you want our attention simply resign!

Not in West Vancouver though. Two ridings and the NDP had 14.5% of the popular vote in one of them and 22.9% of the popular vote in the other, in the last election.

We will see about that at around 8:45 pm on May 14, 2013, that is in the West Vancouver ridings, because we don't who will win government in the province.

Ken, you are a sad state of affairs and its too bad that you live a life of double standards, but live as you wish. The readers all know that when you shop, you use consumer affairs when it comes to your hip pocket!

You have been told many times over and will say it too.

Speakup, are you as paranoid about all goings-on in your life as you are about us scary teachers? The white board marker wielding bogeymen (and bogeywomen) of the classroom really have you cowering under your bed at night, don't we!

Well, if you weren't so darn scared, you might set foot in a school sometime and check out what's going on in there and countless other schools around the province.

You would quickly find out that teachers are far too busy to heave some left wing agenda upon their students. We are too busy helping students learn the basic and more advanced skills that will help them have a bright future. We are too busy providing sports and artistic opportunities to students outside of class time. We are too busy meeting to develop the best plan to care for and educate a special needs child. We are too busy being the one adult a child can trust and confide in when his or her home life is a mess. We are too busy working with our colleagues and students to make our schools a safe and caring environment in a world which is increasingly cold and problematic for young people.

So speakup, how can find time to write back to you on this forum? Well, good teaching practice dictates that you always need to make extra time for your most troublesome students. It's often painful at the time, but it usually pays off in the end. I won't give up on you yet, speakup!

    Christy Clark says,

"Clark also denies there was any communication s problems when teachers say they didn't know about her plan and Education Minister Don McRae saying they didn't know about the teachers' plan either"

I suppose the communication problem belongs to everyone else, Don McRae, Susan Lambert, and the Employer. It's not necessary in her mind to dialogue with anyone but herself!
