You tell em' Lois!

Vancouver has a lot of nerve to stick its damned hands into the business of other cities. I think Pomo, West Van, Delta and New West should start demanding Vancouver add MORE bike lanes to curb pollution that blows to the surrounding municipalities. That'll shut Vancouver up.

I understand the need to move to a regional police force but for residents of New West/Delta/others with excellent police forces that are responsive to the needs of the community, we see nothing but the loss of security to our communities. If other municipalities wish to advance the idea of a regional police force, the concerns of smaller municipalities have to be addressed or it is a non-starter. As a resident of New West, all I expect to get out of a regional police force is the diversion of the resources I currently enjoy to Vancouver or other municipalities.

exactly Mayor Jackson!! Why do people choose to live here instead of Surrey? Delta Police, not RCMP. If you need help, you can actually get it! Why the hell would Delta want to take on Surrey or Vancouver for that matter, with their gang war shit and problems they can't control? Delta has a low crime rate and good standard of living for a reason! and no f8*&ing bike lanes here folks! instead, community services. what a concept, Mayor Moonbeam take note!
