BC's Ministry of Transportation is monitoring complaints about Greyhound Canada in the wake of more customers being left stranded.

Government staff say they've been assured the private bus operators are investigating why one of their drivers walked away from up to 50 passengers at a gas station in Revelstoke earlier this week.

No explanation has been given, but the company's response will be monitored to determine if further action is required by the ministry which has the power to discipline Greyhound under the Passenger Transportation Act.

Tuesday's incident is one of several prompting complaints since mid-December when service has been disrupted by bad weather, bus shortages and drivers working long hours.

Very soon now we will see a major accident involving a Greyhound. This company is a bottom feeder company that cares about 1 thing, and that's making as much money as possible at the expense of it's customers and workers. My cousin used to work at Greyhound in Kamloops, and often the buses would come in with clogged toilets and they would NOT be unplugged and the passengers would have to continue on their way without the use of a washroom. This company is trouble, it's pathetic, and it's time for Canada to start a national bus service! Greyhound is HIDEOUS!

Is this a unionized company? This has all the signs of a union campaign to discredit the company. Labor problems greyhound? I suppose if workers can't get management's attention behind the scenes, customers will do it for them. You can only squeeze workers so much before your customer service levels go into the toilet

@DavidSB This is not about a union, it's about a greedy bus company. 2 years ago they tried to cancel all their service to northern Manitoba, which every northern community depended on for transportation for medical appointments down south etc. The province of Manitoba intervened and told them unless they serviced the north, Grey Hound would not be licensed to come thru MB.....guess what, Greyhound still does business in Manitoba. Point being, the Company doesn't care if it inconveniences a few people...they were prepared to ABANDON a whole Community for their corporate greed...too bad the BC government doesn't care about it's citizens as much as Manitoba does.
