RCMP in Red Deer, Alta., are looking for a 17-year-old charged with first-degree murder, and they say he may be hiding out in B.C.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Adam William Lee Bird of Manitoba.

This, after a 25-year-old man was found shot dead in a car in Red Deer on New Year’s Day.

Bird has been charged with first-degree murder.

Police say recent information suggests the teen may be in B.C., but aren't ruling out other parts of the country.

Normally, the names of accused minors are banned from publication, but police say Bird's name has be revealed in the interest of public safety, and can only be published for the next five days.

Police say he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone who knows where he is, is asked to call RCMP.

Clip his wings and send him to AB to appear in the court. He is a minor so all that will happen to him is he will be sent to the aboriginal court system and that will be that.......nothing will happen to him??? We know that and accept the fact that native offenders cannot be prosecuted in the white mans court system complements of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN OTTAWA.. The sourse of all of our problems OTTAWA
