Downtown Vancouver bar owners and managers are rejoicing after an end to the protracted NHL lockout.

And it could also mean the creation of a few more jobs in Vancouver.

Shark Club Manager Tim Murphy says his West Georgia Street location is adding ten full time positions.

"We certainly are going to be on a quick little hiring spree here now with news that they are going to be starting up pretty quick, so we've put some ads out already and we have some people who were working part time that might come back to us full-time, so that's a concern we're going to have to alleviate right away here."

Murphy says during the lockout his bar saw around twenty percent less business than usual.
