Another young man accused in last year's Stanley Cup riot has pleaded guilty.

Sukhjiwan Grewal from Surrey was originally charged with participating in a riot and two counts of mischief.

The 18-year-old will next appear in court Jan. 13, 2013 – likely to set a date for sentencing.

Vancouver police have so far delivered charges against 275 suspected rioters.

More than 50 have pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing.

Kudos to Chief Chu and the VPD for gathering the necessary evidence to nail these punks !
Note that none are trying to fight this ?
Now if we could only get our gutless judges to give out sentences of significance rather than the lame wrist slaps that seem to all they can hand out

Good call Chris, odd that the judges can't deliver sentences right there if there is a guilty pea. Oh ya then they can't get paid for that extra hour of work.

The CHief and his officers and investigators did and are doing a great job -

The judges are letting everyone down including the rioters. When these people see that there are no consequences what is to stop them from continuing on their evil ways?

I just shake my head - the judges are on thee whole Liberals. But dont even Liberals see something wrong with this justice system?
