The drivers of two semi trucks have died after a collision along Highway 5A last evening.

It happened between Merritt and Kamloops.

Coroner Barb McLintock says one body was recovered last night, the second person's body was discovered this morning.

A logging truck collided with another semi around 7:00 and both burst into flames, igniting a grass fire.

Both drivers were male.

Their identities are not being released until family members are notified.
