The search continues for a hit-and-run driver who nearly killed a man in Surrey Saturday night.

The RCMP have displayed evidence collected from the scene where 49-year-old Jagdev Toor was run down behind a Sikh temple near 86 Avenue and 130 Street.

The victim remains in critical condition with a broken jaw and several other fractures.

His nephew Ramneet Sandhu is pleading with the driver to turn him or herself in, saying that person needs to do the right thing.

The evidence displayed by police includes dark red paint chips and part of a windshield wiper.

They're also warning family members protecting the driver is obstructing justice.

No witnesses have come forward yet.
