Premier Christy Clark is urging the media to respect the privacy of the person involved in the incident that lead to the resigation of Ken Boessenkool as her chief of staff.

Clark told reporters today that person has done nothing wrong.

"I certainly hope that in the course of this public dialogue that we're now having that no one who has done nothing, people who have done nothing wrong are not hurt.  That has been a really central part of my mission in trying to bring this to a conclusion."

Meanwhile, Clark defends her handling of the issue saying she has followed all proper procedures.

Asked why Boessenkool was not suspended while an investigation was underway over the last two weeks, Clark said an employer has to gather the facts before making a decision.

He owes us nothing and shame on you to suggest otherwise. One of the reasons our country is so great is that we respect others privacy. why does it matter what he did? He has paid a big price with both his current job and future employement. That should be enough for anybody.

When you start airing your shameful acts, then you can ask others to do the same. Until then, mind your own.

Christy knew what Ken the next day ..she just waited to see if there was going to be a media storm before doing anything.
To say that Christy is a disaster as a Premier would be taking the high road .
The Liberals had plenty of time to recover from the HST fiasco - but when they elected Christy they doomed the province to NDP rule for the next 8 years

" Clark told reporters today that person has done nothing wrong. "
It took the dimwit 2 weeks to read a letter of resignation and talk fact to face on the day it happened? And she finds a drunken person touching a government married aide nothing?

So much for crissy connecting with women of BC. She just admitted that when at all possible attempt to sweep any dirt (work place sexual harassment at the very least) under the rug and hope nobody find's out.mu
