Good news for those hoping to use Highway 1 near the Cape Horn Interchange.

Project spokesman Greg Johnson says work wrapped up earlier than expected on a new overpass and lane closures have been lifted.

"Thanks in no small part to drivers. Drivers stayed away this weekend and made our job that much easier and crews were able to complete a brand new overpass and start demolition of the old one."

No lane closures are scheduled until next weekend.
