He's a living legend and he's coming back to Vancouver after a nearly 50-year absence.

Paul McCartney has booked a concert at BC Place for November 25th.

Promoter Paul Haagenson says it will be special because the Beatle hasn't performed in Vancouver since 1964.

"This is a big deal. A new chapter in Vancouver musical history. Make no mistake. This is the show for every kid, every mom and dad, their mom and dad, their aunt and uncle, you and your friends that you're going to want to be a part of. The show is nothing short of absolutely spectacular."

That concert at Empire Stadium lasted only 28 minutes.

November's show is expected to last at least three hours.

Tickets go on sale September 14th.

Prices range from 35 to 250 dollars each not including service fees.

I must give Paul a ring, and have him change the date. We will be in Hawaii. So expect the date to change!

Dont get me wrong - I love the Beattles - and saw them live in Hamilton in 1967 ----but poor Paul is losinghis lovely voice

Did everyone hear it at the Queens Jubilee? He had a difficult time even with Hey Jude
