Stormy weather knocked some passengers and crew of a BC Ferry around midnight.

The 'Northern Adventure' ran into rough waters shortly after leaving Prince Rupert at 11 o' clock, but Deborah Marshall with BC Ferries says no one was seriously hurt.

She says a couple of crew members sustained bumps and bruises, and a few vehicles on the car deck did sustain some damage.

Marshall says the storm came sooner than expected, so the crew ended up turning the vessel around and heading back to Prince Rupert around 8:30 this morning.
