Search and Rescue team told to "stand down"

Vancouver's Urban Search and Rescue Team will not be going to Haiti.

The team has been told to stand down.

This, despite news today 1400 Canadians remain missing in the earthquake zone.

Two days ago the team that specializes in rescuing people trapped in earthquake rubble was told to be ready to go to Haiti within 24 hours.
