It was a Logo that got no love from Vancouverites, but now the City of Vancouver is hoping to get it right a second time around.
The city is now asking residents to weigh in through an online survey and give feedback on what makes Vancouver unique.
The survey will be open until May 25. The results will be combined into a report that will be part of a creative brief.
A ‘Call for Design’ to the local design community will be issued in June.
The process is being led by the B.C. Chapter of Graphic Designers of Canada.
The association is responsible for reviewing all submissions and will select three finalists.
Earlier this year, the city scrapped a logo, after many called the $8,000 logo “uninspiring.”
There’s no word yet on what the budget is for the new logo.
