The search for a man in his 20’s who was swept over Lower Falls in Golden Ears Park has been suspended.
The call came in at around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
Rick Laing with Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue says various agencies attended the scene.
“We responded along with Maple Ridge Fire, BC Ambulance and RCMP, and searched the length of Gold Creek… in the water, and in the air by helicopter. At this point, nothing’s been located.”
Laing says the RCMP will continue searching at a later time, to try to recover the man.
