Get ready for more snow on the weekend in parts of Metro Vancouver.
Global BC meteorologist Yvonne Schalle says, “Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement so don’t put your shovels away just yet. We are looking at cool air once again across the South Coast for our weekend. And the potential’s there to see some wet snow or wet flurries developing as early as the afternoon. Temperatures will cool off, especially at higher elevations, and the overnight tonight leading in towards our Saturday. Both Saturday and Sunday, for the overnight periods, that’s when we’ll look at the potential for some wet snow, and the possibility of 5 centimetres.”
