A heartbroken Abbotsford family that was robbed of thousands of dollars worth of possessions only wants their photos back.
Trevor Crump says after he and his family had their home damaged by a flooded washing machine in November, they were put into a hotel temporarily with their belongings in a storage container on their Mountain Drive property.
But when they returned in December, the storage container had been virtually cleaned out, including a hard drive containing years worth of precious memories.
“We don’t care about the stuff, that can all be replaced. They also got honeymoon albums, wedding albums, and a hard drive that held about 13 years of our lives. It included firsts of many for our son: first walk, first talk, all that kind of stuff.”
“That’s the one that’s killing us right now, is that all those pictures are gone.”
Crump is appealing to the thieves to do the right thing.
“Please just return it. The only thing we want back is that hard drive. The albums we can recreate because everything is on the hard drive. If you want to drop it off anonymously, please just drop it off wherever. Get them to call us or e-mail me, it doesn’t matter. The rest of the stuff can stay away.”
Crump is hoping anyone with details will reach out to him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
