Breakfast sandwich junkies rejoice, you’ll soon be able to grab eggs on the go any time of day.
Fast food giants McDonald’s and A&W have both announced plans to roll out all-day breakfast across the country next month.
McDonald’s, which began conducting an egg-centric pilot project with the meals in some Canadian cities earlier this month, will be first out of the gate.
Beginning February 21, you’ll be able to get McMuffins, hotcakes, and hashbrowns at 1,100 of its Canadian restaurants.
Not to be outdone, A&W is hoping the all-day breakfast trend can turn profits sunny side up, and will be launching its menu the following week, February 27.
The company says it tried out all day breakfast at 40 locations last year, and got a positive response – particularly from millennials.
It will be offering its line of Bacon/Sausage/Cheese & Eggers, along with breakfast wraps.
The move follows the successful introduction of all day breakfasts in the U.S. in 2015.
