It’s cold again in Metro Vancouver…and very cold in the central and northern interior.
Global B.C. meteorologist Mark Madryga says don’t expect it to let up anytime soon.
“Well, the extremely cold air is going to persist; the Arctic high-pressure ridge over the Interior pumping all that cold air onto the B.C. Coast. It’s much colder, of course, in the Interior….wind chills in the Fraser Valley Wednesday through Thursday: -15 to -20. Metro Vancouver will stay cold through Saturday; lows on Friday and Saturday morning down to as cold as -11.”

Earlier Wednesday morning, it was -27 in Prince George, and -32 in Whitehorse.
Some areas of Metro Vancouver are still dealing with the remnants of last week’s snow storm.
