The Ottawa Redblacks are the 104th Grey Cup champions after defeating the Calgary Stampeders Sunday night at BMO Field 39-33.
The Redblacks quarterback Henry Burris has been named the Grey Cup’s Most Valuable Player and, at 41 years old, Burris also became the oldest quarterback to lead his team to a Grey Cup win.
Burris threw over 460 yards and three touchdowns, running two more on ground.
Ottawa receiver Brad Sinopoli was named the Most Valuable Canadian of the Grey Cup, where he had a touchdown and six catches for 94 yards.
This championship is the Redblacks’ first Grey Cup win.
