A homeless heroin addict who stabbed another man to death on a Maple Ridge street more than two years ago has been sentenced to six years and two months behind bars.
With time served, 44-year-old Kenneth McCulloch will spend another three years in prison.
He pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of Stacey Raymond King.
It happened on Dewdney Trunk Road near 223rd Street in Maple Ridge on August 2, 2014.
The judge says McCulloch was addicted to heroin, homeless, and unemployed.
The dispute was over $40 worth of drugs.
