“the past two weeks have been the hardest times of my life and I miss Florence terribly.”
Those words from the husband of missing Florence Leung.
Kim Chen spoke to over 100 people gathered for a vigil in Stanley Park Monday evening to pray for the mother’s safe return.
“Like every other person here, the community has really rallied behind Florence and her story. It breaks everyone’s heart, it’s just so important to be here and to come together for her family, her husband and her baby.”
Leung is a new mother of a two month old baby and is believed to be suffering from post-partum depression.
She was last seen on October 25th leaving her New Westminster home in her White Audi Q-5.
Chen says he just wants to see her back home.
“I can tell you Flo has been the best friend and the best wife I can deserve. We want to let Florence know that so many people care for her, that so many people love her.”
CCTV Footage of Leung surfaced of her in Vancouver’s West End buying a banana and Gatorade at a convenience store on Denman.
The 32 year old is described as approximately 5’6″ tall with a slim build, long black hair and black eyes.
