With the recent steady stream of rain here in Metro Vancouver, the slopes up on Whistler Blackcomb are taking shape.
And you may not have to wait as long as you think.
Whistler Blackcomb does not allow access in the off-season and considering the potential for avalanches with a combination of summer snow and the fresh dumping, that’s a good thing.
The official opening is scheduled for Nov. 24, but some reports indicate they received 75 cm of snow in the alpine over the weekend.
Another 25 cm of snow is forecasted in the alpine by Saturday morning.
