It has been more than a day since 65-year-old hiker Debbie Blair went missing near the Cypress Mountain resort.
North Shore Rescue Team Leader Mike Danks says the team found a set of tracks at noon on Friday.
“We’re really hoping that this could potentially be our subject, but again we have not had any other sign other than this.”
Helicopters with heat-sensing cameras scanned the area with a crew of more than 25 people on the ground looking for Blair.
The search for Blair was suspended for the night Friday, and will resume at first light Saturday morning.
Blair became separated from the group and she was last seen at noon Thursday near the Donut Rock trail junction.
Blair is Caucasian, 5’4″, 130 lbs with brown/grey hair, possibly wearing hat and white pants.
West Vancouver Police say North Shore Rescue suspended its search shortly after 1:30 AM, and will resume looking for Blair at 8:00 Friday morning.
If you think you may have seen her, or have information that may help, please contact West Vancouver Police.
