Premier Christy Clark is once again planting her MLA flag in the Okanagan for next year’s provincial election.
Clark is returning to the Liberal stronghold of Kelowna West, previously known as Westside-Kelowna.
It was a seat she won in a by-election in 2013 after she was defeated in Vancouver – Point Grey by NDP MLA David Eby.
Speaking to a crowd of BC Liberal supporters, Clark called on them to unite ahead of next May.
“We need your help for the next eight months until we get to May 9th, so we can keep this thing that we’ve all created together going.”
Clark was acclaimed as the BC Liberal candidate for the riding.
