Good news for drivers who use the South Fraser Perimeter Road through Surrey.
Work gets underway soon to get rid of that ‘bump’ that drivers are all too-familiar with.
The Transportation Ministry has been looking at design options for the Perimeter Road to create a smoother driving surface just east of 136th Street over the Kinder Morgan pipeline area.
The road’s settled creating a big dip and if you’re going too fast, you can almost feel airborne.
The Ministry’s Janelle Erwin says the work should be completed soon..
“In the fall I think we’re expecting a few weeks for the work to get completed and at that point drivers will see an improvement over the current conditions on the road.”
Erwin says the cost is the responsibility of the contractor.
