After years of waiting, it appears a much-needed replacement is coming for the aging New Westminster Secondary School.

CKNW has learned an announcement is expected this morning with plans for the dated New Westminster Secondary School.
It comes months after parents took to the streets demanding the aging school be replaced.
Mayor Jonathan Cote has also been on record saying the outdated building has been slated for replacement for 15 years, arguing it should be a top priority and adding the physical facilities has got to be one of the worst in B.C.
