Issues over wages and working conditions for around 4,700 bus drivers and support workers remain unresolved, however talks between Unifor locals 111 and 2200, and the Coast Mountain Bus Company have set a date to continue.
That’s according to sources close to the negotiations who say talks will resume on June 13th and 14th.

Union members voted in April to give union leaders the mandate to strike in the event of talks breaking down.
Metro Vancouver transit workers last went on strike was over Summer 2001, ending when the province stepped in to force a collective agreement.
