RCMP confirm that a woman believed missing from a Prince George Greyhound bus stop has been found in good health in that city.
41-year-old Annyha Klingner was supposed to arrive in Terrace from Prince George last Tuesday.
But when she didn’t show up, a family member called police a few days later.
Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass investigators were worried, particularly because of one detail.
“Checks in Prince George show that she bought a bus ticket in Prince George but we’re unable to confirm whether or not she made it on to the bus. In fact her luggage made it to Terrace but she did not.”
Douglass says police didn’t assume anything nefarious had happened, but wanted to look at all possible scenarios.
” She could be in Prince George. She could be anywhere from Prince George and Terrace and in fact she could have moved on to anywhere else.”
“There may be a number of reasons why she didn’t show up in Terrace and one of them being maybe she didn’t want to show up in Terrace and we have to respect that too. So we are asking that she contact the police, we’d like to put eyes to her and make sure that she’s ok.”
