An RCMP officer involved in a violent jail cell takedown is now facing an internal disciplinary hearing.
The April 2012 incident left Robert Wright with permanent brain damage, and resulted in a civil suit filed by the Terrace man against the RCMP and Constable Brian Heideman.
It was settled out of court earlier this year for terms that are confidential.
But now Heideman will have to undergo an RCMP disciplinary hearing to be held in Terrace in February of 2017.

He is accused of disgraceful conduct, but it’s unclear if it’s connected to Wright’s case.
It is not the first time Heideman’s been in trouble on the job.
The officer, now working with the Vernon detachment, was docked eight days pay in 2014 for steroid use.
