She’s a menace, and she needs to be taken off the road.
Those words today from Transportation Minister Todd Stone, speaking out on CHNL radio.
He says he hopes the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles will look at the case of a Richmond woman caught distracted driving up to 14 times.
Stone says it’s outrageous this woman is still allowed behind the wheel. He says, 14 tickets later, and $16,000 in fines, the woman is a menace and she needs to come off the road.
As for stiffer penalties for distracted driving, Stone was mum on details but says they’re on the way to B.C. “very soon”.
