A Philippine Airlines flight from Vancouver to Manila had to make a brief emergency landing last night.
Just after the plane took off at 10:30, the pilot spotted a possible mechanical issue with the plane’s flaps.
Brant Arnold-Smith, YVR’s Operations Shift Manager:
“As a precaution, YVR did have emergency equipment standing by for the aircraft’s arrival, and once the aircraft did land after dumping fuel to reach appropriate landing weight, aircraft did land safely.”
No one was injured in the incident.
