1. Fujiya – Clark & Venables
One of my face places to get quick Japanese food. It’s also a great Japanese supermarket with pretty much anything you could think off.
The service is great too. They also have a smaller store downtown for the office crowd. I always get a wide selection to go, but you can also eat in-store.
2. Edible Canada – Granville Island
Book a table. It’s one of the few places left in the city that don’t make you line up for chow.
All the ingredients used in their means come direct from the Granville Island Market and they source their seafood, red meat & poultry from sustainable businesses. And they use what’s in season.
I got the fish and chips. Their fries are, in my estimation, the best in the city. Their secret? These bad boys are cooked in Duck fat. Quack.
3. Fisherman’s Terrace Seafood Restaurant – Aberdeen Centre Richmond
This is my favourite place to go for Dim Sum, and those of you that know me know it’s something I eat regularly.
It can get super busy on weekends so book a table. I tend to go around 10:30am before all the families get there, that way you’re pretty much guaranteed a table.
Order whatever takes your fancy but I always finish my meal with a Mango Pudding.
