Chalk up another loss for the Vancouver Canucks.
The team managed to hold off the Blackhawks for half of the first period, but Duncan Keith eventually drew first blood 12 minutes into the game.
Both teams battled to gain a foothold in the second period, but neither side managed to put the puck into the back of the net.
It wasn’t until halfway into the third period Dennis Rasmussen put the Blackhawks up 2-0.
The final 30 seconds saw Andrew Shaw and Brandon Mashinter add another two to the board, finishing the game with a 4-0 victory for Chicago.
The Canucks currently stand 3rd in the Pacific division, with 11 wins and 12 losses.
They face the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday.
