A day after telling the public about a man with serious brain injury after a “single punch” assault, Vancouver Police are recommending a manslaughter charge in a similar incident from August.
Two men got into an argument on Robson street when the victim was punched and knocked onto the ground, suffering what was believed to be a minor head injury.
The victim was taken to hospital, refused treatment, and left; but he was later found unresponsive in his home.
He later died in hospital with a serious brain bleed.
A 26-year-old Vancouver man now faces charges.
