After the Paris terrorist attacks, what can someone in Vancouver do to make a change in this world?
One Vancouver computer programmer, decided to create an internet browser app.
The app changes any instance of the word “terrorist” into “coward” on any web page.
Mack Flavelle says he and his colleague couldn’t sit and do nothing, so they did what they do best.
“We felt a great sense of frustration in light of all the suffering caused by cowards lately in the world and we’re not sure what we’re going to do about that. Then we realized we’re very good at the internet at Axiom Zen.”
He says it’s not personal
“I’m not a big fan of being sad, I’m a big fan of a sort of action based perspective, and so this was the way I felt to take action, it wasn’t personal.”
The app can be installed onto Google Chrome browsers by downloading it from the web store.
