The Abbotsford homeless camp has been making headlines all day.
Not only because of the BC Supreme court decision ruling the homeless will be allowed to camp over night on city parks…but because of this.
“It’s against the law to take our picture…”
“No it’s not….”
“Don’t touch me man.”
That’s the sound of Kevin MacDonald, a camera man getting maced in the face by a homeless woman while filming the camp.
Speaking to Drex earlier tonight MacDonald says he was shocked when it happened.
“They think that we shouldn’t shoot them, that we don’t have the right to shoot them, well they are in a public place, I mean we have the right….anybody has the right. It is just like when the homeless and other people go and shoot the police with their iPhones.”
MacDonald believes the woman may have been arrested, and thinks she may have been responsible for spraying another journalist earlier in the morning.
