An organization promoting strategic voting is denying allegations of an NDP-bias and conflict of interest.
Speaking to CKNW’s Simi Sara, the manager of Lead Now’s Vote Together campaign, Amara Possian, says the decision to endorse NDP candidate in the hotly-contested Vancouver-Granville riding is not suspicious.
“It’s a community decision, the recommendation has come from our community.”
Accusations flew on social media, after news the endorsed NDP candidate, Mira Oreck, was friends with Lead Now’s Executive Director.
Some recent polls have put Oreck and Liberal candidate Jody Wilson-Raybould as neck-and-neck, while others give the advantage to the Liberal…raising questions as to why the organization would endorse the NDP in that riding.
