The final numbers from the advanced polls are in.
Elections Canada says more than a million people cast their ballots across the country yesterday.
So, the total number of advanced votes is more than 3.6 million.
That is 71-per-cent higher than it was during the 2011 election.
But that’s because a fourth day of advanced polls was added this year.
Over three days, the turnout was up 16 per cent over last time.
