Some 86,000 people have signed a pledge to vote strategically in next Monday’s election.
And nearly a third of them are from B.C. Lead Now, the group behind the push, says that’s about 30,000 people.
Organizer Rachel Tetrault says 200 volunteers are campaigning in the newly formed Vancouver-Granville riding.
They’re urging voters to get behind the candidate with the greatest chance of defeating the Conservatives.
“I think that people are really excited for change, and if the majority of us vote for change in this upcoming election, the Conservatives could still win because of our broken system, so I think there is still an appetite for this.”
Although, Tetrault claims they are still waiting for the results of riding polls before endorsing the Liberals or the NDP.
