Elections Canada needs more people to work at polling stations in Metro Vancouver on election day.
Spokesperson Dorothy Sitek says available positions include poll clerk, information officers, and central poll supervisors.
“British Columbia is a very large jurisdiction, so we are always looking to hire, and it’s a busy period. Primarily, this is an opportunity to make a little pocket money and make a difference in your community.”
Spots are open for polling stations on Oct. 19 as well as advanced polling days, which start Oct. 9.
The pay ranges from $13.50 to $21.50 an hour.
