A horrific crash between two tour buses in Seattle Thursday morning has left four people dead and 12 people in critical condition.
Fire Chief Harold Scoggins says the call came in around 11:15 a.m. on the Aurora bridge and 90 firefighters rushed to the scene.
“We’ve transported 44 patients to a variety of different hospitals in the Seattle area with eight left to be transported out. We have approximately 30, what we term as walking wounded, with various minor injuries that are still being assessed.”
The collision was between the “Ride the Duck” amphibious tour bus and a charter bus.
Seattle Mayor Ed Murray says one of the buses had several dozen international students on board and they are contacting their consulates, but would not give any more details.
