Vancouver Canucks tickets officially go on sale tomorrow.
But pricing will be a little different this season.
On CKNW Weekend with Sam Ferris, owner of Vancouver Tour and Ticket Service, Kingsley Bailey says it’s all about making money.
“Well the team feels that they want to make more money. So they call it dynamic pricing. There’s more demand for certain games like the Leafs, the Habs, the Bruins, the Rangers. They feel because there’s a larger demand for those games, that those games should be sold for more money.”
“Maximize as much as you can from the games that are in demand. And that’s what they’re doing. I think in the long run it will help the team but in the short run it hurt them.”
Pricing will be based on supply and demand and what day of the week a game falls on.
