The Integrated Homicide Investigation team has released more details about yesterday’s deadly shooting in Burnaby.
IHIT’s Seargent Stephanie Ashton says they have identified the victim.
“We were able to identify the victim as 43-year-old Igor Bradaric. He was found at the scene and succumbed to his injuries shortly after.”
Looking for information about a specific vehicle.
“Witnesses have told us so far that they believe a 2005 grey Audi station wagon with out of province license plates might be associated to this event.”
The car was recovered in Surrey, and Ashton says IHIT won’t say which province the plates on the suspect vehicle is from.
She says the shooting is targeted and Bradaric is known to police.
IHIT says this shooting is not related to an ongoing turf war that has led to a series of shootings in Surrey and Delta since March.
